Why visualization is all the more important during a pandemic

Visualization is the process of creating strong mental imagery of a future event. It's a mental rehearsal of the situations you desire.

During tough times like ours, anxiety and stress has become the new normal. Panic over depleting savings and negative fake news take it’s own toll. Mind is a creature of habit and we need to break its bad habit of pessimism. Maintaining a sound mind could be difficult when fear takes over your mind. The solution to break free from these spiraling negative thoughts is to adopt – Visualization.
Visualization is the process of creating strong mental imagery of a future event. It’s a mental rehearsal of the situations you desire. Visualization is all the more important during crisis times. It will help your mind move away from negativity. It will boost your overall morale.
Research has proved that visualization does bring creativity in your subconscious mind. If you exercise an idea or thought over and over, your brain starts to believe it as reality. Thalamus is the part of the brain that is responsible for reality-making. It does not differentiate between the inner and outer realities.
Visualization will protect you from the fear of unknown. It will motivate you to take necessary actions to fulfill your dreams. The lock-down will soon be over and it’s high time we unlock our imagination too.
For ages, successful people have used the power of imagination. Super achievers like Jim Carey, Mathew Hayden, Oprah Winfrey and Will Smith have attributed their success to visualization.

To practice the technique of visualization, sit in a place for 10 minutes in a relaxed posture. Imagine the desired event of your life and feel the feelings of gratitude. See the event as a memory in your mind. Appreciate the finer details of your scene. Repeat the scene in your mind till your mind believes it as reality.
At first, it might feel like work. But with time you will master the art of creating your own reality. It will make you mentally stronger and confident. It will help you remove anxiety from your life.
The genius scientist and thinker Albert Einstein rightly said about visualization – Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
